The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Lucena Inspection and Certification Team, including the Philippine National Police (PNP) and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Lucena, awarded the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quezon Provincial Office with the Safety Seal Certificate at the DTI Quezon NC Training Room, Lucena City.

The Safety Seal Certificate Award aims to recognize the office’s efforts in maintaining health and safety protocols for its employees and clients in accordance with COVID-19. As discussed by DILG Lucena Program Manager Jarold Fermanez on the Background of the Safety Seal Program, DTI Quezon successfully complied with all of the 14 indicators that they have set for an establishment to be awarded a Safety Seal.

Congratulatory messages were then given by the Inspection and Certification Team, including DILG Director, Engr. Danilo A. Nobleza; PCMS Misolas of PNP; and SFO3 Cristina Inciong of BFP-Lucena, shared that they’ve witnessed how DTI Quezon consistently implements protocols and follows public health standards even during the declaration of Alert Level 1 in the City.

A message was also given by DTI Quezon Provincial Director Julieta L. Tadiosa, thanking all the staff of DTI Quezon who both implement and follow the given standards while providing the best service to the clients, especially during the pandemic. ♦
