VICTORIA, LAGUNA – The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Laguna Provincial Office partnered with Puregold Price Club, Inc. and the Barangay La Mesa Office to provide an opportunity for consumers to access basic necessities and prime commodities at discounted or reduced prices. A Diskwento Caravan was held during the World Consumer Rights Day, 15 March 2021, at the covered court of Brgy. La Mesa, Calamba City, Laguna.

In the Diskwento Caravan, manufacturers and distributors sell their products at an affordable and discounted price. The said activity was graced with the presence of Regional Director Marilou Q. Toledo, OIC Provincial Director Marcelina B. Alcantara, Brgy. Chairman Eduardo Silva, and Puregold Area Manager Diana Gonzales. The Diskwento Caravan covered 11 barangays and benefitted 259 consumers. ♦
