As part of the continuous efforts of the government in providing business development assistance and encouraging the growth of the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), DTI is conducting Livelihood Seeding Program – Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSP-NSB) to different cities/municipalities in the province of Laguna.

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Laguna Provincial Office, through the Negosyo Center (NC) Pakil, in cooperation with the local government unit (LGU) of Pakil, Laguna, conducted the Ceremonial Awarding of LSP-NSB Certificates on 16 March 2022, at the Operation Center, Estaca, Barangay Burgos, Pakil, Laguna.

The program started with the preliminaries of opening prayer and acknowledgement of guests and participants. Christian Ted O. Tungohan, Senior Trade-Industry Development Specialist, delivered his welcome message toward the participants and guests.

Then, DTI-Laguna, Senior Trade-Industry Development Specialist, Arnel M. Magpily delivered his inspirational message to the participants and shared how DTI helped MSMEs reached their potential in their respective businesses. Afterward, the LSP-NSB Beneficiaries signed and stated their Pledge of Commitment. Furthermore, the LSP-NSB certificates were given to a total of 50 beneficiaries. Lastly, Eloisa A. Peralta, secretary of LGU Pakil Mayor, delivered her closing remarks.

All the beneficiaries were very grateful for being chosen as recipients of this livelihood program. They expressed their gratitude for this opportunity to improve the business climate in their area through DTI’s LSP. ♦
