The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Laguna Provincial Office, through its Negosyo Center Los Baños in cooperation with the Los Baños Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office, held a seminar for Sustainable Livelihood Program beneficiaries in Barangay Bagong Silang, Los Baños, Laguna on 20 May 2022 to increase micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME) competitiveness. The seminar was attended by 36 micro-enterprise owners from the barangay.

The seminar included a mix of lectures and forums involving interaction with the participants. Discussions revolved around the different components of business and the practical rules and tools for improving the enterprise.

After the seminar, 20 enterprises availed the Barangay Micro Business Enterprise program and seven (7) identified beneficiaries of the Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa Livelihood Kit registered their business name.♦
