Mabitac, Laguna – The DTI Laguna, through its Consumer Protection Division and in collaboration with LGU Mabitac and Puregold Price Club, Inc., spearheaded the Diskwento Caravan last 27 October 2021 at Municipal Covered Court, Brgy. Pag-asa, Mabitac, Laguna.

The said activity solidified the partnership between DTI-Laguna and Puregold as both continue to bring discounted basic goods and necessities to the community amidst the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Diskwento Caravan is a DTI initiative that aims to provide reasonably-priced quality products to the Filipino public. It is being conducted nationwide in close coordination with Local Government Units and other private stakeholders to ensure that the supply of basic necessities in accordance with or even lower than the suggested retail prices.♦
