To continuously provide the Entrepreneurship Development Program for the existing and would be micro-entrepreneurs, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Laguna through the Negosyo Center (NC) Pila conducted a How to Start a Business cum Consumer Education Seminar as well as a Workshop in Preparing Simplified Action Plan for the Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (PPG) beneficiaries from LGU Pila last 11 May 2022, Tuesday from 9:00am to 2:00pm at the covered court of Pila Central Elementary School.

The activity was attended by 54 beneficiaries which compose of nine (9) fire victims, 44 MSMEs affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and one (1) youth entrepreneur, technical staffs from DTI Laguna as well as staffs from LGU Pila.

The program was grace with an opening remarks of Mr. Arnel M. Magpily, DTI-Laguna Senior Trade and Industry Specialist who briefly explained the Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (PPG) program to the participants. It was followed with an inspiration message given by Mr. Ulysses R. Ochoa, LEDIPO designate of the local government unit (LGU) of Pila which shared why the participants need of the entrepreneurship seminar and how they can grow the assistance that will be given to them.

It was followed by How to Start a Business Seminar facilitated by Ms. Edelyn Aireen Muñoz, NC Business Counsellor assigned in LGU Pila and the workshop on Simplified Action Plan facilitated by Ms. Liana Mara Bayunggan, PPG Focal staff. The program continued with the conducted of Consumer Education Seminar facilitated by Ms. Julie Flor Canayon, Consumer Protection Division staff.

In addition, a total of 15 Business Names (BN) and Barangay Micro Business Enterprises (BMBE) registration were facilitated during the same event. ♦
