Calamba City, Laguna – The Department of Trade and Industry Laguna conducted another successful SME Roving Academy (SMERA): Specialized Seminar and Hands-on Workshop on Pricing and Costing at Ivory Space, Brgy. Halang, Calamba City, Laguna. This face-to-face seminar was organized by Negosyo Center Business Counsellors from all over the province, namely: Onyx Lim, Jelly Poso, Shairralyn Surigao, Rica Mae Garcia and Apple Fatima Plopino. They have invited Mr. Eufracio Ocampo as the guest speaker for this event. Further, a total of 10 existing micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) participated during the said activity.

The objective of foregoing is to enable our MSMEs in the aspect of pricing and costing and to boost the growth and development of their respective businesses.

During the morning session, different techniques on Pricing and Costing were thoroughly discussed. Further, Ocampo shared his relevant experiences that will help all the participants to understand the topic more, not only through their minds but also through their hearts. On the afternoon session, participants engaged in hands-on activities and they were also able to enlighten themselves through the Q&A Session.

The program ended by the closing remarks delivered by Provincial Director Clarke Nebrao of DTI-Laguna who further encouraged MSMEs to surge forward amidst the challenges that their businesses are facing ♦
