The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Laguna, through its Negosyo Center Los Baños (NCLB), and thru the initiative of Local Youth Development Office – Los Baños (LYDO – LB), marked another milestone as they conducted a free seminar to thirty five aspiring youth entrepreneurs last May 28, 2022.

Youth organizations, Sangguniang Kabataan, and representatives from different barangays took part in the event. With the theme “Business Opportunities for the Youth Amidst Pandemic,” the seminar underscored the crucial role of businesses in youth and workforce development at the time of crisis. It includes a mix of lectures, open forums, and testimonials through interaction with participants. Discussion revolved around starting a business, available business opportunities, and marketing strategies.

The training is part of the commitment of DTI-Laguna to continue providing a series of comprehensive assistance to aspiring young entrepreneurs and to promote the continual improvement of MSMEs. It also aimed to increase the awareness of youth organizations about the services of the DTI through the Negosyo Center. ♦
