ALAMINOS, LAGUNA – Despite the pandemic, the Department of Trade and Industry – Laguna Provincial Office (DTI-Laguna) through the Negosyo Center Alaminos continues to provide seminars and training to help the new and existing entrepreneurs of Alaminos and nearby cities and municipalities. A webinar on Optimizing Revenue through Facebook Marketing via Zoom was conducted last 4 June 2021.

The event was hosted by Negosyo Center Business Counsellor Jean Kristine Torres. Mr. Nicanor Satur Jr., a certified public speaker, business consultant, and President of Satur Events Management and Marketing Solutions, served as the resource speaker for the day. He explained the importance of Facebook promotions and enumerated the principles of social media. He then gave an overview of the Facebook users in the Philippines and reiterated that it is the largest engagement platform for customers online. Aside from promotions, the use of Facebook advertisements was emphasized. Promotion strategies and other tips for success were also identified. On the latter part of the webinar, Satur showed the “how to post” on Facebook for promotion and advertisement. Questions from participants were entertained thereafter.

Potential and existing micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) joined the webinar as well as individuals from Alaminos local government and private sector. The participants expressed their appreciation for a very informative, timely, interesting, and helpful discussion of Satur. They also expressed their gratitude for the help DTI, through Negosyo Centers, has given them amidst the pandemic and look forward on the upcoming webinars of Negosyo Centers. ♦
