The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Laguna Provincial Office conducted the Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (PPG) Training-Seminar for 62 San Pableño beneficiaries on 20 May 2022 at the Covered Court of Barangay Bagong Bayan II-A (Poblacion), San Pablo City, Laguna. The seminar-training covered a series of discussion on DTI Programs and Services, Setting-up a Business, and Consumer Education as well as a workshop on creating a simplified action plan to operate and manage each beneficiary’s business.

DTI-PPG is a livelihood seeding and entrepreneurship development program which aims to assist individuals and families affected by fire incidents and other calamities, including health disasters like the COVID-19 pandemic, and those who will avail of the Balik Probinsiya Program to recover and/or start their businesses. Livelihood kits worth of PHP8,000, which are set to be awarded to the beneficiaries in the following months, are in the form of actual goods such as grocery items, frozen goods, raw materials, and tools and equipment. ♦
