On 19 October 2021, the Joint Inspection Team of the local government of Mauban, conducted a Safety Seal inspection. The three establishments that were inspected are ASA Philippines Mauban Branch, La Pavielle Events Place, and Sambuwig Restaurant, which applied for Safety Seal. The Joint Inspection Team of LGU Mauban with the DTI Negosyo Center Mauban evaluated the Safety Seal application. Ensuring that the establishments are compliant with joint memorandum circular (JMC) 21-01 Minimum Public Health Standards (MPHS) and Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) Resolution No.87; DILG Memorandum Circular No.21-053 of the DOLE-DOH-DILG-DOT-DTI JMC No. 21-01.

The committee carefully reviewed each establishment’s compliance with the health and safety standards. This includes the provision of thermal scanners, hand washing stations with soap and sanitizer, COVID-19 emergency hotlines, facemask wear, adherence to social distancing and regular disinfection, and other health protocols. The LGU inspection team carefully checked whether the said establishments complied with the law. It also explained to each establishment owner the importance of having a Safety Seal certificate. After careful assessment, the three establishments passed the inspection and were scheduled to award the Safety Seal certificate.
