LUCBAN, QUEZON — The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quezon, through its partnership with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Lucban and with the assistance of Negosyo Center-Lucban, successfully held its Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (PPG) Program Awarding of Business Kits last January 31, 2023, at the Patio Rizal Hotel, Barangay 8 (Poblacion), Lucban, Quezon.

PPG is a post-disaster response livelihood seeding and entrepreneurship development program of DTI that aims to assist individuals and families affected by fire incidents and other calamities, including health disasters like the COVID-19 pandemic, to recover and/or start their businesses.

Thirty-one (31) business kits were awarded to the qualified Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) who were identified and validated in collaboration with the LGU. Prior to the awarding, the beneficiaries underwent profiling and attended an entrepreneurial mind-setting seminar, which helped them improve and recover their businesses from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Among the business kits awarded were twenty-nine (29) sari-sari store kits, one (1) food package, and one (1) bakery kit. ♦
