POLILLO, QUEZON — Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) through its Negosyo Center takes part in Information Caravan on coconut farmers and Industry in Polillo, Quezon led by the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) in partnership with the Department of Agriculture (DA) that is being held in Polillo Sports Complex Brgy. Poblacion Polillo, Quezon on February 27,2023.
The program starts with a message of Hon. Angelique E. Bosque, Mayor of Polillo, Quezon that expressed her gratitude to the implementing agencies despite of bad weather and gives a warmly welcome to the farmers.
It was attended by more than 80 farmers from towns of Polillo, Burdeos and Panukulan. The purpose of the work is to inform all farmers the programs and services offered by the various coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan (CFIDP) implementing agencies. CFIDP Project Coordinator Lawrence Joseph Velasco shared his knowledge about the program and services that can be distributed by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to coconut farmers in Polillo, Burdeos and Panukulan and it was followed by an open forum.
As the program ends the Regional Manager of PCA IV, Mr. Bibiano Concibido Jr. gave a message of thanks through Quezon I Division Chief, Mr. Joselito R. Alcantara and shared the beauty of the CFITF program. ♦
