The Department of Trade and Industry conducted the awarding of sari-sari store livelihood kits to 10 selected beneficiaries from Barangay Poblacion and Sta. Monica, Tagkawayan, Quezon. The provision of livelihood kits is just one of the components of the Livelihood Seeding Program – Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSP-NSB) program of DTI. The beneficiaries received P7,000 worth of sari-sari store products, which can serve as additional capital for their businesses. The goal of the program is to provide business development assistance to MSMEs that belong to vulnerable sectors of society, such as those who are located in local armed conflict (LCAC) affected areas, indigenous people, refugees, and victims of pandemics. The above-mentioned activity was held at Puregold Branch, Barangay Sta. Maria, Calauag, Quezon.

Furthermore, we would like to extend our appreciation to the Local Government Unit of Tagkawayan, spearheaded by Mayor Luis Oscar T. Eleazar, for providing us transportation as we attend the aforementioned activity.
