The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), through Business Center Gen. Nakar Quezon, continues to provide services and additional livelihood assistance for small registered businesses that have been severely affected by the pandemic caused by COVID-19. Through the Negosyo Center Gen. Nakar’s Livelihood Seeding Program – Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay, through information dissemination in Barangay Batangan and Magsikap, 10 beneficiaries were selected in each barangay mentioned. Such selection of beneficiaries is based on the required criteria of the DTI as follows: DTI Business Name and Mayors’ Permit. The beneficiaries have also undergone scrutiny through counseling so that the additional investment provided to them by DTI will enable them to grow and further help their small businesses.

On 6 December 2021, selected beneficiaries came to Puregold Lucena City. All of them have wholeheartedly accepted the gift of additional investment in their business so that they can shop for necessities for their business. The said assistance is a Sari-Sari Store Package worth P7,000. The beneficiaries of the DTI Quezon Office through the Negosyo Center Gen. Nakar are happy and grateful.
