The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quezon, through its Negosyo Center Unisan, held the awarding of negosyo kits as part of the DTI-Livelihood Seeding Program – Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSP-NSB). The awarding was conducted on 7 December 2021 at SM Lucena City. This was attended by the beneficiaries and representatives from Barangay Bonifacio and R. Lapu-Lapu in Unisan, Quezon.

There were nine beneficiaries awarded negosyo kits worth P7,000 each. During the awarding of negosyo kits, beneficiaries were accompanied by DTI staff in their actual purchasing of products and items related to the line of their businesses. Every beneficiary was very happy and excited about doing groceries and purchasing their needed items. After choosing what to purchase, beneficiaries were assisted by the DTI staff in payment transactions at the counter. This livelihood package assists them in reviving their businesses after the COVID-19 pandemic. The beneficiaries extended their sincere gratitude to the DTI for being the recipients of the said livelihood assistance.

Livelihood kits were given to nine micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), consisting of five sari-sari stores, one milktea stall, and two food houses. This livelihood assistance is part of the LSP-NSB program, which aims to assist businesses that have been severely impacted by natural and/or man-made disasters. The program also aims to provide wider business development assistance by bringing government services closer to the people through partnerships with local government units and barangays. ♦
