The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), through Negosyo Center Tiaong, conducted an Awarding of negosyo kits for Livelihood Seeding Program – Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSP-NSB) beneficiary of Tiaong on 7 December 2021, in Puregold Tiaong.

There were 10 LSP-NSB beneficiaries that were awarded negosyo kits (10 sari-sari store packages) worth P7,000. The identified beneficiaries purchased their negosyo kits in Puregold Tiaong using the LBP Gift Cards. The beneficiaries were the ones to choose and decide what goods or items would be in their kits. This livelihood package aids in restoring and improving their businesses from the COVID-19 pandemic.

After the awarding, the LSP-NSB beneficiaries expressed their sincere gratitude to the DTI for the negosyo package they’ve received.

The LSP-NSB Program was launched in March 2021 in Brgy. Bukal and May 2021 in Brgy. Talisay, Tiaong, Quezon. The aim of the said program is to provide wider business development assistance by bringing government services closer to the people through partnerships between relevant local government units and DTI officials. It also aims to provide assistance to the main catalysts of the economy, the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) that was greatly affected by natural and/or human-induced calamities such as epidemic and pandemic.

It was ensured that minimum health standard protocols were observed all throughout the event. ♦
