The Department of Trade and Industry, through Negosyo Center San Antonio, conducted an awarding of Negosyo Kits for Livelihood Seeding Program – Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSP-NSB) Beneficiary of San Antonio on 6 December 2021 in Puregold Tiaong.

There were 10 LSP-NSB Beneficiaries that were awarded Negosyo Kits, (9) sari-sari Store packages, and one food package worth P7,000.00. The identified beneficiaries purchased their Negosyo Kits in Puregold Tiaong using the LBP gift card. The beneficiaries were the ones to choose and decide what goods or items would be in their kits. This livelihood package aids in restoring and improving their businesses from the COVID-19 pandemic.

After the awarding, Municipal Mayor Erick M. Wagan congratulates the beneficiaries and wishes to increase their capital through this program. The beneficiaries extended their sincere gratitude to the Department of Trade and Industry for the livelihood assistance they’ve received. “Napakalaking tulong po nito sa amin lalo na po sa panahon na ito. Makakaasa po kayo na papaluguin namin ang natanggap naming tulong mula sa DTI. Maraming salamat po!” one of the beneficiaries stated.”

In June 2021, the LSP-NSB Program was launched in Brgy. Sampaguita and Pury, San Antonio, Quezon. The aim of the said program is to provide wider business development assistance by bringing government services closer to the people through partnerships between relevant local government units and DTI officials. It also aims to provide assistance to the main catalysts of the economy, the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) greatly affected by natural and/or human-induced calamities such as epidemics and pandemics.

It was ensured that minimum health standard protocols were observed for the safety of everybody all throughout the event.♦
