The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quezon conducted the OTOP Philippines Program Orientation and Commitment Signing for selected OTOP MSMEs on May 23, 2023.
The program formally started with an opening remark given by DTI-Quezon Provincial Director Julieta L. Tadiosa to inspire the new set of OTOPreneurs. It was followed by a program orientation given by OTOP Support Staff Regine L. Avellano in order to give MSMEs who passed the one-on-one screening a deeper understanding of the program and its package of assistance. These assistances include product development, technology updating, capacity building, brand equity and development, intellectual property assistance, access to finance, marketing platforms, and promotion.
After the orientation, TIDS/TPO Honeylee O. Eclavea presented the MSME/OTOPreneur Commitment Form, and those who indicated their intention to join signed the mentioned form to ensure the MSMEs’ awareness and pledge to the program.
The program ended with a few reminders and inspirational messages from CTIDS Anna Marie V. Quincina and officially welcomed the qualified MSMEs as OTOP Batch 2023 beneficiaries. ♦
