The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quezon held a successful Kapatid Mentor ME-Money Market Encounter Online Program: Webinar on Taxation. As the current president-elect of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants-Quezon Chapter, Gene Emil A. De La Cruz, an independent tax and accounting practitioner and proprietor of G.A.C. Accounting Services, was invited to speak on this topic. There were 500 Zoom attendees and 262 Facebook (FB) livestream participants, with the FB recording generating over 500 views.

Julieta L. Tadiosa, Career Executive Service officer (CESO) V, DTI Quezon Provincial Director, welcomed the participants, especially the enrolled KMME-MME Online Exclusive Sector Quezon mentees. De La Cruz’s presentation covered business taxes, tax filing and payment methods, and how to file percentage tax and income tax. ♦
