SARIAYA, QUEZON — The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quezon, through Negosyo Center Sariaya, represented by Senior Business Counselor Shayne B. Nocus, attended and participated in the Sariaya Chamber of Commerce Monthly Meeting held at Casa Plaza Restaurant on April 18, 2023. The program started with an opening prayer, followed by the singing of the national anthem.
Dr. Ruben De Gracia, the esteemed host and President of the chamber, welcomed the attendees and confirmed the presence of a quorum. During the meeting, Dr. De Gracia read the minutes of the previous gathering and introduced the agenda for the day.
The primary topic of discussion was Doc Ruben De Gracia’s participation at the public hearing and consultation on the proposed updating of the 1992 Tax Ordinance on the Municipality of Sariaya, held at the Sariaya Sports Complex on March 27, 2023. The discussion focused on the updated charges and fees for the application of business permits. Dr. De Gracia encouraged the members to be a part of such an event to raise their voices as they represent the business sector. The second item on the agenda addressed ways to promote the Chamber to potential new members and attract more business owners.
As there were no additional matters to discuss and no further comments or suggestions from the attendees, the meeting was adjourned. This decision was accepted unanimously by all present. ♦
