The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quezon held the 2022 Kapatid Mentor ME-Money Market Encounter (KMME-MME) Online Program face-to-face Orientation-Screening Interview with the potential mentees from Dolores, Lucena City, Atimonan, Lucban, and Tayabas City at the Negosyo Center Training Room, Lucena City, and virtually with potential mentees from Candelaria, Sampaloc, Alabat, Polillo, General Luna, and Macalelon via Zoom from March 10, 14-17, and 24, 2022.

Ms. Jaryz Eden J. Lloce, KMME Provincial Coordinator, welcomed the participants and gave a brief summary of the program during the six-day orientation. She went on to describe the KMME-MME Online program implementation as well as the module syllabus. Following that, Ms. Anna Marie V. Quincina, Division Chief, Ms. Cristina J. Avio, Senior Trade-Industry Development Specialist, Ms. Cristina J. Avio, and Alternate KMME Focal Person, Ms. Leizel A. Luneta conducted a mentee application screening interview.

Ms. Luneta briefed the potential mentees regarding the application, the important forms to be filled out, and the documentary requirements for submission. It was followed by an open forum to respond to the questions of the potential mentees.

On the other hand, Ms. Chelsea Ann A. Canales, Livelihood Seeding Program – Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSP-NSB) Support Staff, assisted with the video recording of the expectation setting. The orientation concluded with the signing of the pledge of commitment by the mentees.

KMME-MME Region 4-A Multi-sectoral Batch 2 will run from 26 April to 19 July 2022, with module sessions every Tuesday and Thursday, 8:00 AM-12:00 PM.

For five consecutive years (2016-present), the DTI and PCE-Go Negosyo, through KMME Program, have worked together to set out confident entrepreneurs with the right mindset and business know-how which will be able to sustain and scale up their enterprises. To date, the program has produced over 7,000 graduates nationwide.♦
