The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quezon Provincial Office headed by Provincial Director Julieta L. Tadiosa joins in Duterte Legacy Caravan thru the Convergence of All Government Agencies held in the Provincial Capitol, Brgy 10, Lucena City last 1 May 2022.

With the theme, “Pagkakaisa ng Mamamayan at Pamahalaan Tungo Sa Pagbangon, Kapayapaan at Kaunlaran”, the Duterte Legacy Caravan is a collaboration with government agencies that aims to inform the public about the government’s programs, policies, accomplishments, and efforts to bring about real change to the lives of the Filipino people by showcasing real stories from the beneficiaries.

The first part program started with an invocation and the singing of the Philippine National Anthem. PCOL Joel A. Villanueva, Provincial Director of Quezon Police Provincial Office delivered the welcome remarks and gave a brief background on the Duterte Legacy Caravan. This was followed by the messages from the line government agencies. Afterward, “Ka Lilay“, a former rebel delivered a testimonial on how government programs changed her life. Also present in the caravan is the Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo (KKDAT) President, Hon. Rolden Garcia encouraged the youth sector to fight against illegal drugs and terrorism. Afterward, Mr. Christian Eric Bonia, from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) delivered his closing remarks.

Also joining the caravan were the Provincial Social Welfare Development Office (PSWDO), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Technical Education And Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and Public Employment Service Office (PESO).

The second part of the program was the distribution of food packs to the participants as well as the Libreng Gupit Program of the Quezon Police Provincial Office. ♦
