LUCENA CITY — The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quezon and the Rotaract Club of Lucena Promenade held a collaborative meeting to discuss potential partnership projects for the club’s adopted schools and community. The Business Development Division Chief, Ms. Anna Marie V. Quincina, welcomed the incoming President of the club, Engr. Mark Joseph A. Sore, and thanked him for his high regard for the programs of the DTI.

Engr. Sore expressed his interest in a skills training and youth conference that will integrate an entrepreneurial mind setting, as well as other foundational modules on entrepreneurship, respectively.

In response, the TIDS/Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP) coordinator, Ms. Jaryz Eden J. Lloce, gave an overview of the DTI Quezon’s Building and Encouraging Youth Entrepreneurship through E-commerce, Innovation, and Development (BEYOND) under the YEP. The Business Development Division expressed its willingness to customize the initiative to best fit the club’s focus, needs, and expectations.

Further communications and meetings will be held in the succeeding months to finalize the theme and schedule of the project, followed by the drafting of a proposal.
