DOLORES, QUEZON — The Department of Trade and Industry Quezon, through the Negosyo Center Dolores, participated as a resource speaker for the TESDA Training on May 29, 2023, at the Encarnacion Farm School, Brgy. Sta. Lucia, Dolores, Quezon. The event was attended by twenty-five (25) Organic Agriculture Production NC II Students.

The training session commenced with an introduction to the significance of entrepreneurship and the pivotal role played by the DTI in fostering business growth through its various programs and initiatives. The Negosyo Center Dolores Business Counselor, Ms. Aicel Dongon, proceeded with an extensive presentation on the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise Development (MSMED) Program, access to finance initiatives, market development programs, business registration and licensing procedures, and support for startups and innovation. The Business Counselor also highlighted the capacity-building activities and product development and quality improvement opportunities provided by the agency, as these services were more relevant to the participants.

Concluding the training session, the resource speaker provided a comprehensive recap of the key points covered, serving as a valuable reference for participants and allowing them to consolidate their learning and recall essential details. The Business Counselor offered additional resources and references to empower participants to continue their exploration of DTI programs and services beyond the training session.

Overall, the training session marked a significant step towards fostering a thriving entrepreneurial system.
