Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quezon, through Negosyo Center General Nakar, conducted the 2-day training on the 2nd floor, SB Session Hall, Municipal Building, on the 10th and 11th of November 2022. The training/seminar on “Introduction to E-commerce and Online Marketing Techniques” was administered by the Department of Trade and Industry office through the Negosyo Center, led by Business Counselor Nanette Tan and BLPO Designate Angelito Vargas.

Ms. Sherlane T. Fortunado, as a resource speaker, shared her knowledge in the introduction to e-commerce. She discussed products, e-commerce marketing principles, and e-commerce marketplaces, which became the focus of the first day of the training. On the second day of the training, she discussed branding, basic graphic design and video editing, social media presence, and content creation.

Honorable Mayor Eliseo Ruzol attended and participated in the said training/seminar along with Executive Assistant V Diego Suaverdez, MCDO Perla Ayuma, and registered MSMEs and potential entrepreneurs.

Mayor Esee reached out and gave a message about the importance of online platforms. He said that with the growth and development of technology, MSMEs should go along so that customers can reach more widely and grow more. Executive Assistant V. Diego Suaverdez and MCDO Perla Ayuma also delivered a message. Ms. Sherlane T. Fortunado received a certificate of appreciation for sharing her knowledge. The participants received a certificate of participation from all MSMEs and potential entrepreneurs that completed the two days of training and seminars.

The DTI-Quezon, through the Negosyo Center Gen. Nakar, in collaboration with the Local government of Gen. Nakar, aims to continue and provide more knowledge and skills for MSMEs. ♦
