The DTI Quezon Shared Service Facilities (SSF) Program conducted its Annual Year-End Assessment via Zoom on 22 December 2021, as part of its tradition of gathering all SSF Cooperators in Quezon Province, assessing their overall performance and accomplishments throughout the year, and recognizing the performers of the program.

Hosted by SSF Provincial Coordinator Ma. Graciela C. Ledesma, the said event started with an opening prayer and was followed by the acknowledgment of attendees. She mentioned the account officers such as TIDS-CARP Jennifer E. Ilagan, TIDS-CARP Leyland B. Madridano, and TIDS Honeylee O. Eclavea. Also, SSF Provincial Coordinator Ledesma acknowledged the SSF Team consists of Provincial Director Julieta L. Tadiosa, Division Chief of the Business Development Division Anna Marie V. Quincina, and handling the technical tasks during the event, SSF Support Staff Dara Jannes C. Obmerga, TIDA/Planning Officer Ma. Angelica O. Holgado, and all the SSF Cooperators who attended the said event.

Afterward, Provincial Director Julieta L. Tadiosa delivered her welcome remarks. “Even in the time of the pandemic, it is always our activity to celebrate and gather all of you. It is with a grateful heart that I thank all of you for all your support of the program. Marami po tayong dapat ipagpasalamat nitong nakaraang taon 2020 nung nagsimula ang pandemic up to present,” she shared. She also encouraged everyone to thank God for the gifts of life, the gift of time, the gift of learning, the gift of togetherness, and the gift of family.

SSF Support Staff Obmerga shared the SSF Accomplishments Audio-Visual Presentation. The AVP consisted of accomplished sales, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and other client assistance, jobs generated, and activities from January to December.

After the AVP, SF Provincial Coordinator Ledesma presented the top 10 performing SSFs in Quezon Province in alphabetical order with the following criteria: Active participation in DTI events (30%), such as trainings, webinars, and trade shows, Consistent Report Submission (20%), and Greening Practices (10%). DTI SSF Quezon awarded Candelaria Coconut and Other Products Manufacturer’s Association, Inc. (CACOPMAI), Gat-Uban Weavers Association, Inc., Gumaca Coco Coir Consumers Cooperative (GCCCC), Health and Management for Innovative Services Foundation, Inc., KOOPNAMAN Multi-Purpose Cooperative, Pinagdanlayan Multi-Purpose Cooperative (PMPC), Pinagdanlayan Rural Improvement Club Multi-Purpose Cooperative (PRIC MPC), Samahan ng Manggagawa ng Geonet (SMAGNET), Sta Lucia Agrarian Reform Community MPC, Yakap at Halik Multi-Purpose Cooperative-QII.

Top 10 Performing SSF 2021

In addition, some of the SSF Cooperators included in the Top 10 Performing SSFs shared their experiences and gratitude for DTI Quezon’s services and programs, namely Lilibeth De Ocampo of CACOPMAI, Florinda Pastrana of LGU Mauban, representing Gat-Uban Weavers Association, Inc., Lourdes Macalintal of PMPC, Lota Ruby of SMAGNET, and Ms. Cristina Generoso of PRIC MPC.

In her closing remarks, Division Chief of BDD, Anna Marie V. Quincina, congratulated the DTI SSF team and all the SSF cooperators. She said, “Sa kabila ng pandemya, muli tayong bumangon upang ipagpatuloy ang negosyo, unti-unti na pong nabubuksan ang ekonomiya, at nabigyan tayo ng pagkakataon upang muling kumita at pinatunayan po yan ng report kanina. Tayo po ay umaasa na ang 2022 po ay mas mataas at mas malaki ang pag-asa na magkaroon tayo ng ligtas, malaya at masaganang taon“. ♦
