The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Rizal, through Negosyo Center Tanay, partnered with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Rizal for the fifth leg of the Digital Tuesdays Webinar Series entitled, “Discover Pesobilities” held last September 13, 2022, via Zoom Application and simultaneously broadcast live on DTI Rizal’s official Facebook page.
The session aims to engage the MSEs in benefiting from the utilization and promotion of digitalization in their businesses and products. The invited resource-speaker was from the Filipino Online Professional Service Cooperative (FOPSCo) Rizal, Ms. Jimely Tocong. She focused her discussion on detailing different types of technology and discovering new and effective ways to maximize the use of it to gain additional income. Additionally, a total of 74 active participants, consisting of potential and existing SMEs, students from different schools and universities, and government employees, took advantage of this free webinar brought by DTI Rizal and DICT Rizal.
Due to the overwhelming support garnered from the previous attendees, the above-mentioned NGAs decided to continue to hold the webinar series until the end of September. In this way, it will accommodate more participants who are interested in connecting with and adopting digitalization and improve the efficiency of business operations and transactions. ♦
