The DTI Rizal through the Negosyo Center Antipolo conducted another Awarding of Livelihood kits under its Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (PPG) Program on 20 October 2022. The beneficiaries were twenty (20) garments trader/manufacturers mostly from Taytay, Rizal.

There were two types of items that were given in the PPG awarding. The first type of item consists of 18 kgs of Cotton Spandex (Plain Black), 18 kgs of Cotton Spandex (Plain Brown), 19 kgs of Cotton Spandex (Plain White), and 4 pieces of Thread (Black). While the second type of items were 12 kgs of Challis (Plain white), 12 kgs of Challis (Plain Dark Blue), 12 kgs of Challis (Plain old rose), and 12 pcs of cotton thread (white).

Prior to the awarding of items, registration/attendance and filling out PPG forms (Acknowledgement Receipt and Pledge of Commitment) were accomplished by the beneficiaries. The awarding event was facilitated by the DTI-Rizal personnel headed by Sharon F. Dioco (Business Development Division – Chief) together with STIDS Marlene De Luna, TIDS Jonalyn Adaya, Business Counselor Cristine Payadao, and PPG Staff Michael Avisado and Jocelyn Ferrer.

After the inspection of items, it was followed by awarding and photo-ops: One at a time, the beneficiaries were called to award their livelihood package and they were given a chance for the pictorial with the DTI personnel.

The Department of Trade and Industry Rizal Provincial Office under its Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa Program will continue to assist various MSMEs affected by the different calamities and pandemics in the whole province of Rizal. There will be more awarding events in the days to come.
