Infographics - Module 2: Business Compliance or MSMEs

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Rizal continues to train micro and small business owners so that they can expand their operations and improve their products. The Collaborative Harnessing and Mentoring Program for Micro Entrepreneurs in Rizal (CHAMPS-Rizal) will equip entrepreneurs to participate in DTI’s flagship programs such as Kapatid Mentor ME and One Town One Products through a localized remote mentoring intervention.

On 11 April 2022 at 1:00 in the afternoon, the module 2 of CHAMPS Season 3 entitled Business Compliance for MSMEs was conducted through the Zoom application and Facebook live. The webinar which was organized by the DTI Rizal was attended by CHAMPS beneficiaries and other MSMEs from the province. Negosyo Center (NC) Antipolo Business Counselor Daryl M. Andres hosted the activity.

Mr. Bryant Kim An, PCCI Antipolo President, delivered the opening remarks. He thanked the participation of these MSMEs and encouraged them to continue attending DTI and PCCI-initiated webinars and training activities. BC Andres introduced the resource speakers. Ms. Christine Viernes of BIR RDO 046, Cainta, discussed the regulatory compliance to Bureau of Internal Revenue. Followed by Mr. Emmanuelle Villanueva III of SSS who presented the regulatory compliance to Social Security System.

Ms. Elyssa Mei H. Dela Cruz, along with Ms. Luzviminda A. Lagasca, discussed the process on Pag-IBIG registration regulatory compliance, its benefits and programs such as Pag-IBIG regular savings, housing loan, short-term loans, loyalty card, MP2 savings, and virtual Pag-IBIG account.

The questions were gladly answered by the speakers that gave satisfaction to the participants. Afterwards, the certificates of appreciation were awarded to the resource speakers. The fruitful webinar successfully concluded at 3:00 in the afternoon. ♦
