The Department of Trade and Industry – Rizal Provincial Office conducted a webinar on Consumer Advocacy for Rizal Entrepreneurs (CARE): Orientation on Sales Promo last October 13, 2022, facilitated by Ms. Grace Masilongan, Negosyo Center Rodriguez Business Counselor. This CARE webinar is initiated by the DTI Rizal to encourage micro, small and medium entrepreneurs to boost their marketing strategy through the proper conduct of sales promotion.

The program was graced by the DTI – Rizal OIC Provincial Director Ms. Cleotilde Marco-Duran giving emphasis to interact and taking advantage to ask questions regarding the DTI requirements on Sales Promo and the advantage of having online activities.

Ms. Coney Ramos, the DTI Rizal OIC – Chief of the Consumer Protection Division discussed the difference and samples of advertising versus sales promo, who are the exemptions on filing sales promo, different types of sales promos, how to secure a permit, forms and contents of the application, rules of cancellation, and prohibited acts. Moreover, a question and answer were conducted after the discussion and Ms. Coney gave additional consumer awareness. The program concluded with the closing message of DTI Rizal BDD Chief Sharon F. Dioco thanking the participants and resource speaker. ♦
