The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Rizal Provincial Office recently conducted Training on Improving Business Operations by Integrating Point of Sales and Inventory System for Sampaloc Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Multi-Purpose Cooperative (SARBMPC) last May 4, 2023, at Sampaloc, Tanay, Rizal.
With the support from the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP), this training was conducted to equip the employees of the cooperative in managing the sales and inventory to improve their business operation in recording sales and to have an organize inventory management system. A total of 15 participants attended the training.
The training was facilitated by DTI Rizal Trade and Industry Development Specialist – CARP Kyle Christine Pascual where she discussed the importance of having a point of sales and inventory management system and how it will improve the business. The participants did a hands-on use of the POS and Inventory Management System and explored its features.
After the training, the participants became aware of about the point of sales system that they can use in recording their sales. Also, they appreciate the inventory management system provided. They immediately applied the system in their KADIWA Store and in their processing. ♦
