BINANGONAN, RIZAL — The Department of Trade and Industry – Rizal recently took part at the 123rd Founding Anniversary of Araw ng Binangonan Cook fest Competition. Mr. Ronaldo Ceñidoza, officer in-charge from the Tourism Office spearheaded the event. This was held last March 31, 2023 at the Motorpool Brgy. Calumpang, Binangonan, Rizal.
Senior Trade and Industry Development Specialist Ms. Marlene De Luna, who was invited as one of the judges, and Binangonan Business Counselor Ms. CJ Padayao participated in the said event. Six (6) contestants – who also own local food businesses – participated in the competition showcasing their talent and cooking skills, proudly representing their barangays. The winners of the competition received their prizes on the following day, April 1, 2023.
The event aimed to highlight the various dishes and delicacies of Binangonenses in which they want to be known for. Following the awarding of the certificate of appreciation to the judges, Mr. Cenidoza ended the program. ♦
