The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Rizal Provincial Office paid a courtesy meeting with the newly elected Taytay Municipal Mayor Hon. Allan Martine S. De Leon last 22 July 2022 at the Taytay Municipal Hall, Taytay, Rizal. The meeting was led by DTI Business Development Division Chief – Ms. Sharon F. Dioco, together with Senior Trade and Industry Development Specialist – Ms. Marlene G. De Luna, NC Taytay Business Counselor Ms. Cristine Joy Padayao and Mr. Dumlamor M. Jose Jr.

Among the topics discussed were the Livelihood Seeding Program – Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSP-NSB) awarding, Cities & Municipalities Competitive Index (CMCI) and other programs. LSP-NSB is a program of DTI that allows a wider reach of business development assistance by bringing government services closer to the people through partnerships between relevant local government units and DTI officials. Its objective is to assist microenterprises to grow their businesses through the conduct of entrepreneurship and disaster resilience activities in the identified barangays, including the provision of business kits.♦
