On 13 October 2021, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Shared Service Facilities (SSF) Quezon conducted an action planning with the Provincial Government of Quezon – Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPA) to discuss the SSF 2022 Project for Multi-Commodity Processing, the SSF process, project timeline and documentary requirements at the DTI Negosyo Center Conference Room, Lucena City.

The meeting started with an opening prayer led by SSF Support Staff Dara Jannes C. Obmerga. Provincial Director Julieta L. Tadiosa gave her welcome remarks and thanked all the attendees of the meeting. She introduced the SSF Team consisting of OIC Division Chief of the Business Development Division, Ma. Cristina J. Avio, SSF Coordinator Ma. Graciela C. Ledesma, SSF Support Staff Obmerga, Honeylee O. Eclavea, CARP Leyland B. Madridano, and CARP Jennifer Ilagan.

Then SSF Provincial Coordinator Ledesma presented the agenda of the meeting such as the presentation of the project by OPA, presentation of the SSF Process, project timeline and documentary requirements and templates.

Ma. Leonellie G. Dimalaluan, the OIC Provincial Agriculturist introduced her team from OPA Quezon namely Acting Assistant Provincial Agriculturist Alex Garcia, Food Service Supervisor III Eleanor D. Zabella, Jonard P. Ilagan, Sherwin De Loraya, and Ohmar A. Lorena. She also gave a brief background of the project.

Jonard P. Ilag of OPA Quezon presented the details of the project, SSF for Multi-Commodity Processing Center for Agri-Based Food Products. The products to be processed are cacao, coffee, citrus, vacuum-fried products and spray-dried products. The location is at Pahinga Sur, Candelaria Quezon which is the center of Quezon coffee belt municipalities composed of Dolores, Candelaria and Sariaya. He also presented the list of the machineries and equipment to be requested to DTI worth P2,455,000.

SSF Provincial Coordinator Ma. Graciela C. Ledesma discussed the detailed SSF Process, the target timeline of the project and the list of the documentary requirements. DTI Quezon and OPA Quezon concluded the meeting with important agreements on the fast tracking of the processing of the project. ♦
