TAYABAS, QUEZON — The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)–Quezon, through Negosyo Center–Tayabas City, hosted a Consumer Awareness Seminar on June 16, 2023, at the New City Hall, Tayabas City. The highly informative and engaging event aimed at educating participants about fair trade law and consumer rights and responsibilities. It was attended by consumers and entrepreneurs from Tayabas City.

Tayabas City Councilor Elsa Rubio took the stage to deliver the opening remarks, emphasizing the importance of consumer awareness and protection in the local community. Acknowledging the efforts of the organizers, she commended their commitment to promoting fair trade practices and ensuring the well-being of consumers. Tayabas City Mayor Maria Lourdes Reynoso-Pontioso welcomed the participants, expressing her delight in seeing the willingness and efforts of the participants to attend the seminar.
