The local government unit (LGU) of Sariaya, Quezon, through the initiative of Gawad Kalinga, invited the Department of Trade and Industry Quezon Provincial Office, through Negosyo Center Sariaya Business Counselor Shayne B. Nocus, to be the resource person in the five (5) day activity entitled “Gawad Kalinga Bayani Challenge 2022: Building Resilient Communities” in the identified ten (10) GK communities or barangays on 11 – 15 May 2022.
In response to their invitation, NC Sariaya Business Counselor Shayne B. Nocus conducted an Orientation on How to Start a Business. She discussed the step-by-step procedure for starting a business and reiterated that one way to combat poverty and experience a good and quality life is to start a small business.
A total of 260 participants from different GK communities were grateful for the additional knowledge imparted to them.♦
