GUINAYANGAN, QUEZON — The beneficiaries of the Pangkabuhayan Para sa Kabataan–Business Improvement and Development Assessment (3PK-BIDA) Youth Project finished their Module 8: Design Trends, Product Development and Market Expansion: Packaging and Labeling and Module 8.1: Design Trends, Product Development and Market Expansion: Product Photography in New Conference Hall, Municipal Annex Building, Brgy. Poblacion, Guinayangan, Quezon on June 5, 2023.

Mr. Elgene Bautista, Visual Artist/Graphic Designer/Photographer, delivered the presentation. He talked about how effective packaging and labeling can assist a client distinguish a product from others, especially if it’s positioned next to similar options. Labels also include descriptive information such as size, contents, how to utilize the product, how to properly preserve the product and more. He also gave the beneficiaries some pointers on how to make labels and logos.

Mr. Bautista held a product photography session for the sample products of the nine teams in the afternoon session. He also demonstrated a simple photo editing method to make the photographs more appealing to clients. ♦
