The KALAKAL Quezon is an annual event by the Department of Trade & Industry- Quezon Provincial Office to promote the products of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through showcasing and order-taking activities with the theme “Support Lokal, Shop at Kalakal“. This event focuses on the products of the MSMEs that have undergone DTI’s various product development programs and interventions.
KALAKAL Quezon: Cacao Fuzion 2022 ran from May 24–30, 2022 at the Atrium SM City Lucena and highlighted the best cacao-based products to continually promote and strengthen the cacao industry in CALABARZON, especially in Quezon. Cacao products of the local processors such as chocolates, tableya, spread, choco brittle, cakes & pastries, cookies, chips, wines, lampshades, and other decors with fossilized cacao leaf accents were showcased to gain access to the local market, generate sales, and identify new buyers. The opening ceremony happened on May 24, 2022, and was attended by partner agencies from the national government, local government, and private sectors to strengthen the linkages among various stakeholders involved in the cacao industry.
It was participated by sixteen (16) exhibitors from CALABARZON, twelve (12) from Quezon, two (2) from Laguna, one (1) from Cavite, and also one (1) from Batangas.♦
