Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quezon, through Negosyo Center Gumaca conducted the awarding of the Negosyo Toolkit for the Livelihood Kits under the Livelihood Seeding Program—Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSP—NSB). The LSP-NSB beneficiaries, one (1) from Barangay Tabing Dagat, Gumaca, Quezon, and four (4) from Barangay Villa Nava, Gumaca, Quezon, received their Negosyo kits from the Department of Trade and Industry of the Quezon Province on 11 November 2022, at SM Lucena City. The Negosyo Center Business Counselor, Mr. Aguilar, along with LSP support staff, Mr. Dabuet, assisted and guided the beneficiaries of Gumaca.

Five (5) Gumacaqueño beneficiaries received their respective Landbank of the Philippines (LBP) gift cards in the amount of P 8,000.00 each. The LBP gift cards were used to purchase items or products that would benefit their business and increase sales and income.

The Livelihood Seeding Program—Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay is a program of the DTI that allows a wider reach of business development assistance by bringing government services closer to the people through partnerships between relevant local government units and DTI officials. The initiative also intends to support and maintain the DTI’s advocacy for our nation’s successful economy in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. ♦
