Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Laguna, through the Negosyo Center Cabuyao, awarded LSP-NSB business kits on 21 March 2022, Monday, 10:00 AM to 12:00 NN, at the 3rd Floor Cabuyao Retail Plaza, Brgy. Dos Cabuyao Laguna. Participants, specifically DTI staff, visitors, and 26 beneficiaries from nine (9) designated barangays in Cabuyao, Laguna, namely Banlic, Butong, Casile, Gulod, Marinig, Niugan, Pulo, Tres, and Mamatid, attended and participated in the program.

The session began with an opening prayer and an acknowledgment of the guests and participants. Ms. Pauline Davis Caparas, Division Head of City Cooperative, addressed the participants and guests with a welcome speech. Our Senior Trade Industry Development Specialist, Mr. Christian Ted Tungohan of DTI-Laguna, provided an inspiring message, encouraging MSMEs to be resilient during these tough times. Mr. Tungohan also discussed how the DTI assisted MSMEs in realizing their full potential in their operations.

To continue, the participants completed and signed a Pledge of Commitment to the program. It was quickly followed by the actual awarding. A total of 26 business kits were given out as gift cards to the recipients.

Mr. Arnel Magpily, Senior Trade Industry Development Specialist, offered his final words to the recipients, who had gone through a series of training and seminars prior to receiving their kits. He hopes that every MSME takes advantage of the opportunity provided by DTI-Laguna.♦
