The Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (PPG) program of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is a livelihood seeding and entrepreneurship development program which intends to support micro-enterprises that were affected by fire incidents, other calamities and health pandemic. With that, DTI Rizal through Negosyo Center (NC) Cainta, conducted an orientations on PPG for the MSEs in Cainta, Rizal. It was the second batch of the orientation in the said municipality. The activity was attended by 57 existing and potential entrepreneurs who are also fire victims from San Buena Compound, Barangay Sto. Domingo, Cainta, Rizal.

The program started with a prayer led by Jaymie Benito, NC Cainta Business Counselor and a welcoming remark by Jonalyn Adaya, TIDS-DTI Rizal PPG Account Officer. She expressed her gratitude to the participation of the beneficiaries and gave an overview of the program.

Then, the discussion began with the presentation of DTI Programs and Services tackled by BC Benito, she introduced the 7Ms which covers the assistance which the MSEs can avail from DTI. Moreover, she explained the Business Name Registration and Barangay Micro Business Enterprises (BMBE) Application.

Jocelyn Ferrer, DTI Rizal-PPG Support Staff discussed the PPG program, its objectives, qualifications and benefits. Then, followed by a question-and-answer, most of the attendees showed their interests in business name registration.

Lastly, DTI Staff Adaya closed the orientation with the reminders for the participants on what to expect with the program.
