The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quezon, through Negosyo Center (NC) Guinayangan, held a Livelihood Seeding Program – Negosyo Serbisyo Sa Barangay (LSP-NSB) at Barangay Covered Court, Brgy. Manlayo, Guinayangan, Quezon.

Negosyo Center Business Counselor Nicole T. Chito gave her introduction about DTI as well as the Go Negosyo Act. NC Business Counselor (BC) Chito discussed the “Programs and Services of DTI”, “How to Start a Business” and “Bayanihan CARES” to fulfill the goal of the program, which is to have a wider reach of business development and assistance through the Barangay Development Council.

The participants received informational materials together with hygiene kits composed of alcohol and face masks. The Hon. Noel P. Santos gave his closing remarks, and the program was ended by business name registration.

It was attended by the barangay officials, headed by Hon. Noel P. Santos, and residents of Brgy. Manlayo and nearby barangays. There are a total of 114 participants: 78 existing MSMEs and 36 potential MSMEs. There are also three (3) identified beneficiaries that will receive livelihood kits that can help them improve their business. The identified beneficiaries are all sari-sari stores. ♦
