The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quezon through its Negosyo Center Guinayangan conducted a Livelihood Seeding Program – Negosyo Serbisyo Sa Barangay at barangay covered court, Barangay Sisi, Guinayangan, Quezon on 19 May 2022.

In collaboration with the Sisi Sangguniang Barangay, led by Hon. Cayo Butardo, the program was a success, with 11 existing MSMEs and 104 potential MSMEs participating.

The presentation began with a prayer and the Philippine National Anthem, followed by a video message from DTI Quezon Provincial Director Julieta L. Tadiosa. It was followed by the introduction of Negosyo Center Business Counselor Nicole T. Chito, who spoke about the department and the Go Negosyo Act. NCBC Chito discussed “DTI Programs and Services,” “How to Start a Business,” and “Rise-Up with SB Corp” to achieve the program’s goal of expanding the reach of business development and assistance through the Barangay Development Council.

Participants received informational handouts and hygiene kits containing alcohol and face masks. The Hon. Noel P. Santos delivered the final remarks, and the session concluded with business name registration.

Three (3) identified individuals also received Negosyo Kits to help them improve their businesses. All sari-sari store establishments are designated as beneficiaries. ♦
