The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quezon, through Negosyo Center (NC) Macalelon, in partnership with the Barangay Local Government Unit of Barangay Pag-asa, headed by Captain Noel R. Fronda conducted Livelihood Seeding Program – Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSP-NSB) at Barangay Hall of Barangay Pag-asa, Macalelon, Quezon last 17 May 2022.

The aim of the said program is to provide wider business development assistance by bringing government services closer to the people through partnerships between relevant local government units and DTI officials. The event was attended by a total of 45 participants, with 12 males and 33 females, including the Barangay Local Government Unit and the Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO).

Negosyo Center Macalelon Business Counselor Regin Jianwy D. Balane conducted face-to-face orientation regarding the programs and services of DTI, 8 Karapatan ng Mamimili, Limang Pananagutan ng mamimili, and “Simulan mong magnegosyo.” Each participant received information materials, a snack, and a hygiene kit, inclusive of alcohol and a facemask. It was ensured that minimum health standard protocols were observed for the safety of everybody throughout the event. The program ended with an open forum for clarification. A clinic activity was conducted for the three selected beneficiaries and two existing MSMEs. After the conduct of face-to-face orientation, business counselor Balane conducts information dissemination in the barangay. ♦
