The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quezon, through Negosyo Center Macalelon, in cooperation with the Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) of Barangay Rizal, Macalelon, Quezon, conducted the Livelihood Seeding Program – Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSP-NSB) last May 18, 2022 in Barangay Rizal, Macalelon, Quezon. The aim of the program is to provide business development assistance by bringing DTI programs and services closer to the public through partnerships between relevant local government units and DTI officials.

The first session of which was done in a face-to-face orientation. During the session, NC Macalelon Business Counselor Regin Jianwy D. Balane discussed the DTI programs and services that existing and potential MSMEs can avail themselves of. He also tackled the 8 rights of a consumer, the 5 liabilities of a consumer, and Start-up your business. The remaining participants were reached through information dissemination with the help of barangay officials in Rizal. Each participant received an info kit containing relevant information about DTI programs and services and a hygiene kit, inclusive of alcohol and facemask. Minimum health standard protocols were observed during the duration of the activity. ♦
