The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), through its Negosyo Center – Santa Rosa City in partnership with the Santa Rosa City – City Cooperative and Development Office (CCDO), conducted a Webinar on Basic Food Safety Standards and Food Handling via Zoom last 25 April 2022 (9:30 PM to 12:00 NN). The webinar was attended by a total of 57 participants including the resource speaker and DTI-Laguna team. The speaker for the webinar is Mr. Milano O. Torres, the Director for Research and Extension Services of the Bicol State College of Applied Sciences and Technology in Naga City, Camarines Sur.

The objective of the webinar is to: enhance the knowledge of entrepreneurs on food safety standards, enumerate the basic principles of food safety, gain knowledge on the proper food handling practices, and apply the learnings obtained to respective food business operations. ♦
