As part of the continuous efforts of the government in providing businesses with appropriate assistance and encouraging the growth of MSMEs, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is conducting Livelihood Seeding Program – Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSP-NSB) in different cities and municipalities within the province.

Through Negosyo Center Santa Rosa City, 45 LSP-NSB gift certificates have been awarded to twenty-nine (29) beneficiaries from the six (6) chosen barangays, namely: Aplaya, Baliago, Dita, Kanluran, Labas, and Santo Domingo. Also, 16 beneficiaries from Laguna Boosting Innovation and Technology Start-ups (BITS) have been provided with gift certificates during their graduation last 21 March 2022 at the 3rd Floor City Auditorium, Santa Rosa City, Laguna.

The event was graced by the presence of the DTI-IVA Regional Director, Dir. Marilou Toledo, DTI-Laguna Provincial Director, Clarke S. Nebrao, Santa Rosa City – City Cooperative and Development Office (CCDO) & NC Manager, Paulo Velasco, and Barangay representatives from the selected barangays.

All the beneficiaries and the local officials were very grateful for being chosen as recipients of this livelihood program. They expressed their gratitude for this opportunity to improve the business climate in their area through DTI’s Livelihood Seeding Program (LSP). ♦
