The Department and Trade and Industry (DTI) Quezon, through Negosyo Center Tayabas City, in coordination with the Barangay Local Government Unit of Brgy. Lita, held a Livelihood Seeding Program – Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSP-NSB): A Negosyo Serbisyo sa Brangay Launching for Brgy. Calumpang and Information Dissemination. The activity was held at 9:00 am and attended by the barangay officials/personal and residents of Brgy. Lita.

After the preliminary activity, Negosyo Center Tayabas City Business Counselor (BC), Ms. Jon Emilou M. Encomienda, explained the DTI-Negosyo Center Services and the program NSB, Consumer Rights and Responsibilities. She also tackled “Paano Magsimula ng Negosyo?“. It was followed by the distribution of hygiene kits.

The overall impression of the program was very satisfactory. The course content raised awareness among micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and potential MSMEs in Brgy. Lita. the awareness of barangay officials and citizens about the services offered by the DTI through the Negosyo Centers program for MSMEs. ♦
