The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quezon, through the Negosyo Center – Tayabas City, in coordination with the Barangay Local Government Unit of Brgy. Tongko, held a Livelihood Seeding Program – Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSP-NSB): A Negosyo Serbisyo Sa Barangay Launching for Brgy. Tongko and Information Dissemination. The activity was held at 1:00 pm and was attended by the barangay officials/personal and residents of Brgy. Tongko.

After the preliminaries, the activity formally started with a prayer and the singing of the Philippine National Anthem.

Negosyo Center Tayabas City Business Counselor, Ms. Jon Emilou M. Encomienda, explained the DTI programs and services such as Kapatid Mentor ME, One Town One Product, Livelihood Seeding Program – Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay, and other programs that aim to help and assist MSMEs. Other topics that were discussed were the Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay, Consumer Rights, and Responsibilities. She also tackled “Paano Magsimula ng Negosyo?” And after that, was followed by the distribution of hygiene kits.

The program ended with the participants expressing their gratitude and interest in DTI programs and services. NC BC Encomienda also expressed her gratitude towards LGU-Tayabas as well as BLGU – Tongko for their assistance in making the program possible. This coordination and partnership will continue to enable us to give assistance to the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and clients of Brgy. Tongko, Tayabas City. ♦
